Grizzlies look to create win streak on road

Team chalks up one win, one loss, one overtime loss in last three BCHL games

The Victoria Grizzlies hope to make it two in a row when they travel to Port Alberni tonight.

The B.C. Hockey League squad got two goals and an assist from Brett Gruber as they downed the Spruce Kings 6-3 in Prince George on Saturday.

The win gave the Grizzlies a split of their brief road trip. Victoria lost 4-2 to the Chiefs in Chilliwack the night before.

That followed a 6-5 OT loss to Cowichan Valley in Duncan last week.

The Grizzlies (19-14-1-9) remain third in the Island Division, two points back of Powell River with two games in hand.
