Girls and boys age four to 18 are invited to try field hockey during an upcoming free session.
Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing and running shoes. Sticks, balls and coaching are provided by volunteers with the Victoria Junior Field Hockey Association, which pulls its members from around Greater Victoria. The free session happens from 9 to 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 6 at the University of Victoria turf fields.
