You and I should have a municipal government that we can be proud of. We need a government with vision. We need a government that focuses on families.
Yet Langford’s approval of a business park on Millstream Road is further evidence of a growing lack of proficiency by our elected officials.
To begin, further development in Millstream will only exaggerate already existing traffic issues. This also promotes further destruction of the environment in a community that lost the term “environment sustainability” from their vocabulary long ago.
Finally, this development once again advocates preferential treatment to business over people.
It’s time our municipal government drifts its attention to other matters of importance, and not simply approving every development application that slides across its desk. Is doing the right thing so hard, Langford?
