Wow, I am totally blown away with the community’s compassion and generosity. I would like to say a big thank you to those who helped me raise more than $3,000 for the young man who is battling cancer. I had a goal of $2,500 in mind and with your help the total passed the goal mark by $600. Both the family and I were moved to tears that we as a community would do that for them. The family was in shock and in disbelief! Thank you again for your contributions from the bottom of my heart.
I would also like to thank you all for your continuing support and for believing in me. In the eight years I have been doing this year-round bottle drive I have donated close to $50,000 to a variety of local animal rescues.
