Police are looking for an arsonist after three separate fires were set on neighbouring properties in the 200-block of Burnside Rd. West around May 19.
Between midnight and 2 a.m., the interiors of two vehicles were set on fire, as were materials stored underneath a porch at one of the homes.
“It's probably just tomfoolery, but it is very concerning anytime there’s an arson near occupied dwellings,” said Saanich police Sgt. Dean Jantzen.
It is believed an accelerant was used to start all three fires.
