Webcams will be added to the Colwood interchange at the Trans-Canada Highway and at Admirals-McKenzie at the highway as part of an expansion of the DriveBC network of cameras.
Currently the only West Shore webcam is on Highway 1 near Goldstream park.
Webcams will also be installed on Highway 1 somewhere between Cobble Hilll Road and Cowichan Lake Road, at the Tofino/Ucluelet junction at Highway 4.
Installations are scheduled to begin this spring, and it is anticipated all will be in operation before winter.
