Reports that an altercation over a parking spot resulted in a fight near Spencer Middle School were incorrect.

According to Const. Matthew Baker, the West Shore RCMP was called to a misunderstanding over a parking spot about a block from the school at around 4 p.m. Thursday.
Baker noted words were exchanged but there was no physical altercation. The two men involved, who were not related to each other, both went their seperate way with cooler heads.
He reiterated the incident had no connection to the school.
