Langford seeking options for well-used field turf

Westhills Stadium became operational in 2008, hosts rugby, football and other events

Langford council has approved the City seeking grant applications to replace the artificial turf at Westhills Stadium in the next couple of years.

The existing turf will be 10 years old in 2018 and has been heavily used for rugby, soccer and football by local community sports teams, as well as by school programs at Belmont secondary. The field is also is used for community events such as B.C. Day celebrations and the recently held Goddess Run events.
