Drug dealers caught up in undercover sting

Undercover operatives bought cocaine and heroine from 14 alleged drug traffickers in the 900-block of Pandora Ave.

A dozen alleged drug dealers from Victoria and Langford were caught up in an undercover operation Victoria police officers dubbed November Reign.

Undercover operatives bought cocaine and heroine from 14 alleged drug traffickers in the 900-block of Pandora Ave. from Nov. 15 to 18 “in response to community concern about open-air drug dealing in the area,” said VicPD spokesperson Const. Mike Russell.

The department’s focused enforcement and strike force teams conduct similar stings two or three times a year, leading to a decrease in crime on Pandora Avenue, said Russell.

Twenty-two alleged dealers were nabbed in Project Cinco de Maya in May.
