Crafted Farmhouse Market at Mary Winspear March 15 and 16

Vintage goods paired with good food and beer Friday and Saturday in Sidney

Crafted Farmhouse Market is coming to the Mary Winspear Centre March 15 and 16.

The market describes itself as a “One of a kind shopping experience for modern and vintage goods.” It will feature carefully selected top-quality goods from local makers.

There will be live music, five food trucks, each offering a different cuisine, and Hoyne Beer on tap.

Over 60 local vendors will offer a range of goods among a vintage vibe.A diverse range of vendors are booked to appear, including artists, bakers, growers, re-purpose professionals and curators.

The organizers say the first 50 people through the door will get a Crafted Farmhouse Market shopping tote and free gift, as well as “a selection of vendor goodies and offers.”

The giveaways will continue, with hourly prize draws on Friday and numerous draws on Saturday.

One of the market’s biggest draws is the vintage selfie station, where visitors can take a picture and win more gifts by using the #craftedfarmhousemarket hashtag.There will be an ATM on site as some stall-holders only accept cash.

The schedule is: Friday, March 15 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 cash at the door, with kids 12 and under free.
