Whether you’re embarking on a new career, or looking to make a change, WorkBC Centre Westshore’s Langford Job Fair is the place for you.

Job hunting in today’s competitive job market can be challenging, and you need take advantage of every opportunity and resource available.

Whether you’re a job seeker looking for a rewarding position to get you started on a great career, or a skilled, experienced worker looking for the next great opportunity, WorkBC Centre Westshore’s Langford Job Fair is the place for you.

The Langford Job Fair takes place on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Colwood Church gymnasium.

Job seekers are invited to attend this free, in-person event to connect with more than 40 local employers, including BC Transit, Island Health, Expedia Cruises, Royal Roads University, Tim Hortons and many more. Available positions include part-time and full-time opportunities in a variety of entry-level to senior roles.

Local employers are eager to connect with potential candidates and have many benefits to offer in this competitive job market. The Langford Job Fair is an excellent way to connect with employers and learn more about these benefits.

Attendees are encouraged to ‘dress for success,’ and bring a current resumé as many employers will offer on-the-spot interviews. WorkBC Centre Westshore representatives will also be onsite to assist with interview preparation and share tips and tricks on how to impress potential employers.

Eligible job seekers are also encouraged to sign up for WorkBC’s free employment services to fully benefit from one-on-one support, including resume and cover letter assistance, job coaching and career planning, and potentially to access to the Wage Subsidy program and financial support for items like work clothing and certifications. Attendees will also be entered into a draw to win a free tablet.

Job fair registration is not necessary but encouraged as those who register will receive a free job fair guide and an extra entry into a draw for the door prize. Register for free through Eventbrite here. Job seekers may also enter for free at the job fair.
