Island country songwriter Bella White on new Hunger Games soundtrack

Burn Me Once is on the album featuring Olivia Rodrigo, Rachel Zegler and Sierra Ferrell

A Victoria-based country singer-songwriter has a song on the soundtrack for the new Hunger Games film.

Bella White’s Burn Me Once is featured on the Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes soundtrack.

The film hit theatres on Nov. 17, which was also the album’s digital release date.

“I’m super happy to share with y’all that a song I wrote a while back is part of the soundtrack for the Hunger Games movie The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,” White wrote in an Instagram post. “So many other sweet artists are involved. I can’t wait for you to hear it.”

The album also features artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Rachel Zegler, Molly Tuttle and Sierra Ferrell.

The physical version of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes soundtrack is scheduled to be released on Feb. 2, 2024.

The film is based on a 2020 novel by author Suzanne Collins.
