Building on the growing popularity of the repair café idea, the Town of View Royal is hosting just such an event tomorrow (April 23) from 9 a.m. to noon at the community hall, 279 Island Hwy.
Attendees can bring their household projects to learn quick fix-it tips and use tools supplied to complete those repair jobs that have been put off, from bikes to electronics and more.
The City of Colwood hosted a similar event during the Creatively United for the Plant event at Royal Bay secondary last weekend.
