Victoria fundraiser ‘opens doors’ for Our Place

Draw June 20 for specialized door to help social charity

Tom McLean, owner of Northwest Window & Door in Langford, is raffling a hand-crafted wooden door in support of Our Place Society.

Proceeds will be put towards meals, hygiene facilities and educational programming for people in need.

On June 20 McLean will make the draw at Our Place, 919 Pandora Ave. The door, whose design will be crafted with the winner, is valued at $5,000.

Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at Our Place or at his shop, located at 886 Walfred Rd.
