The Royal Roads University’s spring convocation will wrap up around 3:30 p.m. today (June 19) at Royal Theatre in Victoria. Pacific Opera Victoria artistic director Timothy Vernon and international school founder Sherman Jen received honorary degrees; and former federal and municipal politician Denise Savoie got the Chancellor’s Community Recognition Award.
