Calling local musicians and community programmers, the City of Victoria is looking to add names to its entertainment roster for free summer outdoor concerts and activities at Centennial Square and Beacon Hill Park.

The City selects musicians from the roster to perform at lunchtime and evening concerts in Centennial Square and the Cameron Bandshell from June to September. The City may also draw from this roster to program other events, such as Canada Day, or share the roster with external organizations wishing to hire local musicians.

Preference will be given to applicants who reside in the Capital Region.

The City also organizes outdoor community programming in Centennial Square and Cameron Bandshell from June to September and is looking for community programmers. The focus is on areas of arts, culture, wellness, culinary, children’s and recreation programming, and the activities must be free and open to the public.

Submission deadline is midnight Jan. 20.
