Moms and mentors celebrating 22 years on the West Shore

Colwood-based group helps moms navigate parenting challenges

A public celebration of mothers, their children and those who help guide them through parenthood is happening this weekend at Royal Colwood Golf Club.

On Saturday (May 27) from 1 to 5 p.m., Moms and Mentors group is hosting a special day to mark 22 years of sharing the good times with young mothers, and helping them build their strength in the troubled times. The day includes light refreshments, cake and plenty of conversation.

Moms and Mentors regularly meets on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pacific Centre Family Services, 345 Wale Rd. in Colwood. A snack and babysitting services are available. For more information, visit momsandmentorssociety.ca.

Saturday’s event is a collaboration between Pacific Centre Family Services, Westshore Rotary, Rotary Westshore Sunrise, Beta Sigma Phi, The Lions Club, PEO and Nicky Reid and Co.
