The Esquimalt Lagoon Stewardship Initiative and Parks Canada are presenting a free workshop Oct. 18, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants can learn the best ways to remove invasive plants, how to propagate native plants and help restore the Garry oak ecosystem. Refreshments and lunch are included. Space is limited, so register at info@elsi.ca or 250-360-3299.
