Live music is returning to the Colwood waterfront this month, with the season’s debut event set for May 27.
Each Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer, the city hosts food trucks at the Esquimalt Lagoon, with Saturdays featuring the added bonus of live music on a beachfront stage from 5 to 7 p.m.
The debut Saturday is set to feature a performance by West Coast Soul Collective, alongside food by Deadbeetz, Bird and Basket, Hot Dog Hustlin, and L’Authentique Poutine and Burgers.
Schedules of each week’s performers and food trucks will be posted on colwood.ca with updates as the season goes on. Those interested in applying to be a performer or food truck operator can also find web forms on the city’s website.
