At the seventh annual West Shore Rotary Chili Cookoff on Saturday, Evadar’s Bistro chili took first place, followed by Bascillicos and Fast & Effective Bookkeeping in the peoples’ choice awards.
In the judges’ choice, Fast & Effective Bookkeeping, Island Savings Credit Union and Investors Group took the top three places.
The popular event brought in about $4,000 for the West Shore Rotary. The money is earmarked for Jeneece Place and the Goldstream Food Bank.
