New volunteers are encouraged to attend this Thursday's (April 28) annual general meeting of the Goldstream Food Bank Society.
The organization operates the West Shore's food bank in the basement of the Royal Canadian Legion Prince Edward Branch 91, 761 Station Ave. In December the charity switches hats to become the Westshore Christmas Hamper Fund.
The meeting gets underway at 1 p.m. at the food bank. Annual membership to the society costs $5 and gives a person voting rights at the AGM. Visit foodbank.islandwebhosting.com for more information on the food bank.
