New volunteers are encouraged to attend tomorrow’s (April 28) annual meeting of the Goldstream Food Bank Society.
The organization operates the West Shore’s food bank in the basement of the Royal Canadian Legion, 761 Station Ave. In December the charity switches hats to become the Westshore Christmas Hamper Fund.
The meeting gets underway at 1 p.m. at the food bank. Annual membership to the society costs $5 and gives a person voting rights. Visit foodbank.islandwebhosting.com for more information on the food bank.
