Charity golf tournament raises $7,000 for Boys and Girls Club

Highland Pacific, Office Lounge participate

A ceremony Thursday celebrated the efforts of Highland Pacific Golf and the Office Lounge, which co-hosted a charity golf tournament.

The tournament raised $7,000 for the Boys and Girls Club Services of Greater Victoria. It took place July 28, with lounge staff organizing the event, and the golf club donating the course.

“We are absolutely delighted that Shelbey (Gramlich, Office Lounge general manager) took on this challenge and her efforts paid big dividends for our after-school programs – programs that are so crucial in giving kids ample opportunities to be active, outdoors, or engaged in some form of creative recreation that promotes curiosity and learning as well as physical health,” said Kate Mansell, director of development for the recipient charity.
