This Friday (July 17) at Witty’s Lagoon, CRD Parks hosts Marine Day, a drop-in event for all ages from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Visitors to the beach can hear naturalists describe creatures from the marine environment, gathered for live displays by local scuba divers. Other activities include marine bingo, a beach seine and more.
Park in the main lot off Metchosin Road and be prepared to get your feet wet. No pets allowed please. For more visit crd.bc.ca/parks-events.
