Hair styling competition a qualifier for provincial skills contest

Belmont secondary cosmetology student Shantelle Hutchinson won the gold medal at the recent South Island Regional Skills Hairdressing Competition, held March 28 at Belmont.

The win earned her a spot at the Skills Canada B.C. competition, to be held in Abbotsford on April 9.
