There’s no better way to beat the heat than by splashing around at one of the West Shore’s many spray parks.

The City of Colwood upgraded Colwood Creek Park last year to include a new spray and play area that the kids will love. It’s open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. With access off of Brittany Drive, Sunridge Valley Drive or Cecil Blog Drive, this hidden gem is a great park for local residents.

The City of Langford has five spray parks located at City Centre Park on Langford Parkway, Veterans Memorial Park on Goldstream Avenue, Langford Lake Beach on Leigh Road, Glen Lake Beach Park on Shoreview Drive and Centennial Park on Carlow Road.

Centennial Park is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, Glen Lake Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Langford Lake from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Veterans Memorial Park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
