This Sunday’s fall general meeting of the View Royal Community Association will feature the results of a photo scavenger hunt and include a barbecue dinner.
The Oct. 2 affair is being hosted at the community hall, 279 Island Hwy. from 5 p.m. on. Attendees are asked to pre-register by emailing VRCA2011@gmail.com. Annual membership to the association is free with a $5 donation toward dinner.
As for the photos, residents are asked to submit pictures of their favourite View Royal locations or other subjects. Send them to the above email address before noon Saturday, Oct. 1 to have them placed inside the hall.
Among the new business to be discussed is the new apartment project at 280 Island Hwy., the Christie Point redevelopment and changes to the Societies Act.
