How many varieties of apples can you name? Well, there will be a few hundred different varieties of heritage and modern apples on display this weekend.
The B.C. Fruit Testers Fall Fruit Show runs this Saturday and Sunday at the West Shore Town Centre.
You can even bring in your own apples and have them identified by one of the experts.
Simply pick, with the stem still attached, four to six of the largest specimens from your tree.
Keep them unwashed and unpolished as those attributes can be identifying characteristics and store them in a paper bag. Bring them to the show and learn more about what’s growing in your own backyard.
