The West Shore is now part of the Tacofino family, which spans across the Island and beyond.
The newest location opens in Langford’s Westshore Town Centre with a soft launch this weekend.
The third Island location, with seating for 30, joins the original Tofino food truck and the downtown Victoria Taco Bar.
“Vancouver Island really is the spiritual home of Tacofino, and we’re excited to be able to grow into an exciting community like Langford,” managing partner Mike Dawson said in a news release.
“Not only is it filled with great hiking and biking, but it’s also the gateway to some of our incredible West Coast outdoors. We’re very excited to open our third Vancouver Island location here.

The plan is to serve up Tacofino classics such as the famous fish taco and the legendary crispy chicken burrito alongside a wide range of fresh vegetarian options, all built around regionally and ethically sourced ingredients.
The Langford team worked with Victoria-based Edda Creative and Tacofino co-founder and creative director Kaeli Robinsong to combine elements from the Yaletown and Squamish locations. The space also features a large hand-painted mural by artist, long-time employee, and collaborator Courtney Presber.
