People lined up as London Drugs hosted a grand reopening of its renovated store within the Colwood Corners Shopping Centre – featuring a refreshed design across all departments.

“It was almost two years to get to this point and we are happy to stay in the Colwood neighbourhood. We wanted to show our store to all the new potential Colwood residents in an area that continues to grow, and we are very pleased to stay here. We would like to show our new store to as many people as possible,” said Kevin Sorby, general manager operations.

The new store prides itself on offering a diverse range of products and services while empowering customers to take charge of their personal health through the innovative Connected Wellness program, bridging health and technology. Among the store’s standout features is a full-service pharmacy.

The store will also offer a large tech department, serving as authorized Apple service providers, and a photo lab for unique photo printing products.

The store will also have its Connected Wellness service, with a collection of smart tech products designed to monitor various aspects of health, from heart rate to sleep quality, with the guidance of pharmacists and tech specialists.

The mayor of Colwood was there, as well as more than 100 other people lined up to get a voucher from $25 and $250 to spend in the store.

“London Drugs has been a cornerstone for so many years, providing essential goods and services to all of our citizens. I would highly recommend London Drugs for showing the patience, the perseverance and the commitment to stay in our community,” Mayor Doug Kobayashi said.
