Langford Lightning Girls Squirts A are holding open tryouts that continue today (Wednesday, Sept. 19) and Friday at Centennial Park.
Tryouts are from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the park on Carlow Road, Langford.
Players born in 2001-2002 are welcome to have a crack at the team. The club is also looking for the top U12 girl fastball players looking for a team.
Tryouts are free. Registration cost is $125 for the year and include winter indoor practices.
Coaching staff Pat Guiney and Dan Henderson are fresh off the 2012 B.C. Provincial Championship win.
