The Victoria Symphony Orchestra is taking over the gym at Belmont secondary for a series of very special performances in Langford.

While maybe not their typical audience, the orchestra will be performing three shows for elementary school students from the Sooke School District on Thursday (May 18). In total, roughly 2,500 students and their teachers will get the rare opportunity to see these talented musicians perform up close and personal.

The orchestra will be setting up and rehearsing on Wednesday in the school gym. Neither day is open to the public to attend.
