A large group of dedicated volunteers were honoured earlier this month by the City of Colwood for giving their time, energy, experience and knowledge as citizen members on various advisory committees.
On Dec. 3 Colwood Council and staff feted these folks at city hall for their work and the important contribution they make to community in the areas of safety and security, heritage, city planning and other areas.
As well, longtime volunteer and Colwood resident Dick Emery was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions over the years. A short video of his accomplishments and involvement in various community groups can be seen at youtube.com by searching for Dick Emery.
