Willows Beach FC captured the open division title with a win over Play Fair Have Fun on Sunday at the annual Turf Burn Co-Ed Soccer Tournament at Juan de Fuca Recreation fields.
The Power Rangers proved most powerful in the recreational division, beating Drivin’ Truck and Taggin’ Bucks 3-1, while the Victoria Beckhams downed Game of Throw-Ins 3-0 for the Co-Ed ‘B’ crown.
A total of 27 teams took part in the event, which saw teams play robin games Friday night and all day Saturday and contest the playoff round on Sunday.
