Pro wrestling comes to Langford this week

Prince Edward Branch of the Legion to host variety of matches

The Langford Legion welcomes Vancouver Island Pro Wrestling for a Friday night show this week (May 29).

The feature match sees reigning Vancouver Island champion B.J. Laredo take on Flexxx Payne in the latter’s VIPW debut.

Greater Victoria wrestler Lak Siddartha will take on Bishop, who hails from the mainland.

Other Island-mainland matchups (Island wrestler listed first) include the Krofton Kid versus Tony Baroni, Riea vs. Vixxxen and Cremator vs. Shredz. Islanders Scott Steel and Eddie Osborne are also on the card.

The closing down of the Velox club in Saanich prompted VIPW to shift its venue to Langford, Siddartha said.

Matches get underway at 8 p.m. at 761 Station Ave.
