Langford Triathlon attracts large field

Second annual event crosses West Shore boundaries for course

More than 120 athletes took part in sprint and Olympic divisions, and relays, at the second annual Langford Triathlon on Sunday.

The event, staged by Westshore Triathlon was won by Sam Kehler of Victoria at the Olympic distance in two hours, nine minutes and 42 seconds. Fellow Greater Victorian Paul Politeski crossed the line first in the sprint race in 1:16.32.
