Get prepped for Victoria lawn bowling season

Lawn bowling season is here, and Victoria Lawn Bowling Club is holding an open house event to teach the game to new bowlers

If you have never lawn bowled and want to learn more, the Victoria Lawn Bowling Club is holding a novice tea on Sunday, April 1 at 1 p.m.

Lawn bowling is a fun, social sport for people of all ages, say club members.

New bowlers can discover the game, the club, and deliver some bowls at the event. Training takes place over the following two weeks.

The Victoria Lawn Bowling Club is located at Cook St. and Park Blvd. in Beacon Hill Park. For new bowlers, first-year dues are only $75, plus training and a booklet for $10.
