New Victoria Grizzlies app coming to your smartphone

The Victoria Grizzlies have launched a new smartphone application to help keep fans of the B.C. Hockey League team up to date on the goings-on.

The new app allows viewers to check out such items as the team roster and stats, the game schedule, connect to You Tube videos from the games, listen live to Grizzlies action at home and on the road, as well as connect to the team’s Facebook page and Twitter feed.

Tonight’s game (Jan. 23) at The Q Centre (7 p.m. start) is Heroes Night, as the team honours anyone in uniform, from military and police to other emergency responders. Fans are encouraged to dress like their favourite superhero. The Naden Band will perform O Canada and play during the first intermission. Details at
