Ding, ding, it’s Fight Night in Colwood

Olson’s Gym, on Mount View Avenue, is hosting Fight Night this Saturday (June 9).

The Olympic-style boxing event will showcase up to eight bouts from experienced boxers.

Three-time provincial welterweight champ Jordan Baird will be one of the pugilists on the card. The 21-year-old trains at Olson’s Gym on Mount View Avenue.

Most fighters are local, but some are travelling from Kelowna and North Vancouver.

Tickets are $20 for general admission or $30 for balcony viewing.

All proceeds will be used to pay for the athletes’ travel expenses to future events.
