Rugby Canada has announced Englishman Damian McGrath as the next head coach of the Langford-based men’s sevens team heading into the 2016-17 World Rugby Sevens Series.
McGrath was previously a part of England’s sevens coaching staff from 2001 to 2006 and at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Canada has been drawn into a pool with Fiji, Argentina and Wales for this year’s series, which begins on Dec. 2 in Dubai.
