Belmont places four players on rugby all-stars

Rugby all-stars part of initial identification for higher level programs

Tight head prop Kolton Henderson and number 8/flanker Keaton Clarke of the Belmont Bulldogs were named this week to second annual Greater Victoria High School Rugby senior boys all-stars roster.

Selected as junior boys all-stars were Bulldogs backfielder Jullian Foggitt and hooker Connor Klatt.

The listing of the top players from each of the school teams in the region is a first step in identifying players who may suit up for regional or provincial teams in future.

Those selected as all-stars are invited to trials for the Tide Rugby program’s under-15 through U-18 Lower Island regional sides, which will play in a Provincial Regional Competition this summer at the Burnaby Lake facility.
