Atom tournament at Westhills arena this weekend

Juan De Fuca Grizzlies host a tournament that kicks off Feb 9.

The Juan de Fuca Atom development T1 tournament is coming up this weekend at Westhills arena.

Games will take place throughout the weekend from Feb. 9 to 12 and are open to the public.

Six teams will compete in the tournament including the Cowichan Valley Capitals, Grande Prairie Knights, JDF Grizzlies, Kerry Park, Nanaimo Clippers and Saanich Braves.

The first game of the tourney features Nanaimo and JDF and the puck drops Friday at 4:30 p.m.

The event will also feature a silent auction Saturday and Sunday.
