I see that the mayor of Sooke was not appointed to the Victoria Regional Transit Commission. It was not surprising.
Here is a person with an intimate knowledge of the inner workings of B.C. Transit. Someone who could ask the right questions and not be misled by marketing hype. He is probably the last person B.C. Transit would want on the commission.
I guess this means the billion dollar-plus LRT will be going through. As a cash strapped taxpayer I am not amused.
