LETTER: Ride-sharing is not the solution for poor city planning

Ride-sharing is a misnomer because there is no sharing going on. It’s a taxi service with one passenger.

Ride-sharing is a misnomer because there is no sharing going on. It’s a taxi service with one passenger.

To hail it as a solution for the Colwood crawl is ridiculous. Only a train could take cars off the road but it seems there is no will to go that route, which is a shame. Many millions have been invested into the Makenzie overpass.

This amount of money could have revitalized the train and created more bus routes from the end station of the train to fan out into the city.

Our planners are stuck in the last century.
