First off, thank you so much Ashley Wahhwani for writing on this issue and shame on the NDP. I just wanted to add another piece to this story. Your first line reads “Parents and caregivers who voted ….” I wanted to let you know that I am a retired grandparent who sees my children/family struggling with this issue on a constant basis; so I actually voted NDP for this very reason also – a promise of affordable available childcare. A chance for the province to have these talented parents/British Columbians able to participate in the workforce where their skills are needed. I don’t think I am the only grandparent out there who did this; guessing there are others.
