The cost to hook up sewage to a Colwood home is $3,100 The cost to hook into the main trunk will be god only knows.
It is time to get everyone hooked up to a proper and safely monitored sewage treatment plant at a cost to Colwood residents that are reasonable. It is time that we get something in return for our tax dollars.
I believe the residents in Colwood would support a reasonable tax increase to have one sewage disposal plant compared to the present thousands of un-managed septic systems.
Council should be very cautious in the tax increase and make it an increase that is acceptable to us all.
