Europe gets ferry costs right

The B.C. ferries are not run properly or someone is scamming big time.

The B.C. ferries are not run properly or someone is scamming big time.

If you go to the website of DFDS Seaways and check their pricing you will find from Amsterdam, Netherlands, to Newcastle, U.K., for two adults, one car, return, costs 332 euros.

These are 15 or 16 hour trips each way. This also includes the cost of a cabin with two beds. The ferries are more luxurious than any B.C. ferry.

Also gas prices are so much more than here in B.C. What gives?
