I read Andre Mollon’s letter about welfare benefits with some interest.
I find it interesting that he felt disabled people were getting unfair special treatment in the form of additional monies and benefits beyond a non-disabled welfare recipient’s.
I have to wonder if he doesn’t realize the disabled have additional needs over healthy folks and if he understands welfare is supposed to be temporary help for those able to work. So it should only cover bare essentials to those who use this ministry’s services and money. This helps give them motivation to get to work like the rest of us had to.
