Cyclists are considered vehicles

One resident questions how feasible the rules still are

Re: Reckless driving incident hits home (Our View, April 28)

Just read the article and the comment regarding how the majority of cyclists stick to the side of the road kind of stuck with me. Cyclists are actually considered vehicles and are supposed to ride in the middle of a lane, avoiding surprise car doors opening, increasing visibility, etc. Motorists are supposed to signal, change lanes and pass. Clearly, not realistic or quite feasible in our busy town.

Just my two cents.
