Colwood said there would be no increase or little in our property taxes. Well I am one that has increased $845.
This has to stop. Between all this money been spent on unnecessary things such as lawyers, all fire department wants, bicycles for staff, going green, solar for Colwood and grants for heat pumps. I have had a heat pump since 1982 no body gave me a grant. We have had enough of this spending at our expense. Look at the mess Colwood got us in with sewers.
Taxpayers have had enough. Let’s get together and hope in November we can vote people in who work for the citizens, not their own wants. We don’t seem to know or have a say to the spending going on in Colwood.
